दिल्ली में होने जा रहे नगर निगम चुनाव के मद्देनजर कल कांग्रेस के पूर्व अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी ने अपने आवास पर एक अहम बैठक रखी। दो घंटे तक चली इस बैठक में कई महत्वपपूर्ण निर्णय लिए गए।
बैठक के बाद कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं ने कहा कि इस बार पार्टी भ्रष्टाचार हटाने और दिल्ली में सफाई लाने के मुद्दे पर चुनावी मैदान में उतरेगी।

दिल्ली कांग्रेस के प्रभारी शक्ति सिंह ने बताया कि दिल्ली कांग्रेस में मेम्बरशिप ड्राइव चल रही है और इस बार उम्मीदवारों को पार्टी के कार्यकर्ता ही चुनेंगे। अब तक करीब 1100 उम्मीदवारों ने अपना नामांकन दाखिल किया है।

साथ ही दिल्ली कांग्रेस प्रदेश अध्यक्ष अनिल चौधरी ने बताया कि डिजिटल मेम्बरशिप के तहत डेढ़ लाख लोगों को जोड़ा गया है और उम्मीदवारों के चयन में इनका अहम योगदान रहने वाला है।

कांग्रेस प्रभारी और प्रदेश अध्यक्ष के साथ ही राहुल गांधी के आवास में हुई बैठक में अजय माकन, जय प्रकाश अग्रवाल, देवेंद्र यादव, हारून युसूफ, राजेश लिलोठिया, केसी वेणुगोपाल अभिषेक दत्त, अली मेहंदी और जय किशन भी शामिल रहे।
