दिल्ली एनसीआर के गाजियाबाद के लोनी में जहर खाने से मां-बेटे की मौत के बाद अस्पताल में इलाज के दौरान दो बहनों की भी मौत हो गई। पति की बीमारी ने एक परिवार को लगभग खत्म कर दिया। एक ही परिवार के 4 सदस्यों की मौत के बाद हड़कंप मचा गया। प्रशासन ने परिवार के मुखिया को नकद सहायता राशि दी है, जबकि मुख्यमंत्री राहत कोष से भी मदद का आश्वासन दिया गया है।
बता दें कि ट्रॉनिका सिटी थाने के ईलायचीपुर गांव की अमन गार्डन कॉलोनी में रविवार दोपहर मोनिका पत्नी मोनू ने अपनी बेटी मनाली, साक्षी और बेटे अंश को जहरीला पदार्थ खिलाकर खुद भी जहर खा लिया था।
बच्चियों की हालत बिगड़ने पर इलाज के लिए दिल्ली के जीटीबी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था, लेकिन बच्चियों को भर्ती कराते समय मां ने जहर देने की बात नहीं कही थी। दिन ढलने पर मां-बेटे की घर में ही मौत हो गई थी, जबकि इलाज के दौरान रविवार तड़के दोनों बच्चियों ने भी जीटीबी अस्पताल में दम तोड़ दिया है। पुलिस ने मां-बेटे के शव शनिवार रात ही पोस्टमॉर्टम के लिए भेज दिया था, जबकि दोनों बच्चियों के शवों का जीटीबी में पोस्टमॉर्टम किया गया है।
