दिल्ली के उप मुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने शुक्रवार को राज्य विधानसभा में दावा किया अरविंद केजरीवाल की सरकार से भाजपा इतना ‘डरी’ हुई है कि प्रधानमंत्री ”एमसीडी के कामकाज में रुचि ले रहे हैं। उन्होंने दिल्ली के तीनों नगर निगम को मिलाने के लिए लोकसभा में पेश विधेयक को लोकतंत्र के लिए खतरा’ करार दिया। सिसोदिया ने यह बात विधानसभा में दिल्ली के नगर निकायों को एकीकृत करने के केंद्र के कदम पर हुई चर्चा का उत्तर देते हुए कही। उन्होंने कहा, ”देश के प्रधानमंत्री (नरेंद्र मोदी) को यूक्रेन-रूस युद्ध के बीच भारत की स्थिति के बारे में सोचना चाहिए लेकिन उनकी सभी चिंता एमसीडी (दिल्ली नगर निगम) के चुनाव को लेकर है। केंद्र की भाजपा सरकार और प्रधानमंत्री दिल्ली के लोगों की आवाज से डरते हैं।
सिसोदिया द्वारा विधानसभा में दिए भाषण को उद्धृत करते हुए जारी बयान में कहा गया, देश के इतिहास में पहली बार प्रधानमंत्री का स्तर इतना नीचे आ गया है कि वह नगर निकाय चुनाव में रुचि ले रहे हैं। प्रधानमंत्री, अरविंद केजरीवाल से इतने भयभीत हैं कि देश चलाने के बजाय एमसीडी चलाने के स्तर पर आ गए हैं। इसके जवाब में दिल्ली विधानसभा में नेता प्रतिपक्ष रामवीर सिह बिधूड़ी ने कहा कि दिल्ली के विकास के लिए तीनों नगर निकायों को एकीकृत करना जरूरी था। भाजपा ने बिधूड़ी को उद्धृत करते हुए जारी बयान में कहा, केजरीवाल सरकार ने नगर निकाय के कोष को रोककर जानबूझकर दिल्ली के विकास में बाधा उत्पन्न की। नगर निकायों को मिलाया जा रहा है ताकि ऐसी स्थिति दोबारा उत्पन्न नहीं हो। रोहिणी से भाजपा विधायक विजेंद्र गुप्ता ने आरोप लगाया कि नगर निकायों को कोष से वंचित करके ‘आप ने ‘अनुचित भूमिका’ निभाई है।
