दिल्ली में शुक्रवार सुबह सुरक्षा कर्मी की रिवाल्वर से हुई फायरिंग की घटना के बाद वकीलों में नाराजगी फैल गई। उन्होंने अचानक से काम बंद कर दिया है। वकीलों के अचानक काम बंद करने से लोगों को परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ा। खासतौर पर जमानत के मामलों की सुनवाई को अगली तारीख पर टाल दिया गया। इसके अलावा अन्य मामले भी प्रभावित हुए। हालांकि रोहिणी बार एसोसिएशन की तरफ से पहले ही जिला न्यायाधीशों से आग्रह कर दिया गया था कि किसी भी मामले में वकील के पेश ना होने पर विपरीत आदेश पारित ना किया जाए। परन्तु अदालत पहुंचे लोगों को दिक्कत का सामना करना पड़ा। अलीपुर से राकेश ने बताया कि वह अपने भाई की जमानत याचिका पर सुनवाई के लिए आया था। लेकिन वकीलों के काम बंद करने के कारण जमानत याचिका पर सुनवाई को सोमवार तक के लिए स्थगित कर दिया गया है। अब वह वापस लौट रहा है।
वहीं, सोनीपत से आई शंकुतला ने बताया कि घरेलू हिंसा के मामले में गुजाराभत्ते पर आज वकील को उसकी तरफ से बहस करनी थी लेकिन वकील के ना होने के कारण सुनवाई अब डेढ़ महीने बाद के लिए टल गई है। दूसरी तरफ रोहिणी बार एसोसिएशन के सचिव मंजीत माथुर ने बताया कि वकीलों की तरफ से इस घटना को लेकर दो मांगे रखी गईं। जिनमें से एक घटना को लेकर प्राथमिकी दर्ज करने को लेकर है तथा दूसरी मांग नंगालैंड पुलिस बटालियन को अदालत की सुरक्षा से हटाकर दूसरी बटालियन को तैनात करने की मांग की गई है। उनका कहना था कि भाषा का ज्ञान ना होने के चलते सुरक्षाकर्मी कई बार उलझ जाते हैं। ऐसे में अदाालत की सुरक्षा के लिए हिन्दी भाषी बटालियन को अदालत की सुरक्षा में तैनात किया जाए। ताकि दोबारा ऐसी स्थिति ना आए जैसेी की आज आई।
