दक्षिण दिल्ली के पॉश इलाके सीआर पार्क में शुक्रवार को मुठभेड़ के बाद एक कथित अपराधी को पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार कर लिया, जबकि अन्य 4-5 मौके से फरार हो गये। पुलिस सूत्रों ने बताया कि शुरुआती जांच में पता चला है कि गिरफ्तार अपराधी का नाम संग्राम सिंह है। वह उत्तर प्रदेश के फर्रुखाबाद का रहने वाला है। जवाबी कार्रवाई के दौरान पुलिस फायरिंग में उसके पैर में गोली लगी है। पुलिस ने उसे अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया, जहां उसका इलाज चल रहा है।

सीआर पार्क के आसपास की कोठियों में कई महीने से चोरी की शिकायतें आ रही थीं। इस आधार पर पुलिस ने उन्हें पकड़ने के लिए संबंधित इलाके में विशेष निगरानी की। इसी दौरान आज सुबह लगभग 5:00 बजे कुछ लोगों को संदिग्ध हालत में देखा। उन्हें रोका तो वे भागने लगे। चार -पांच बदमाश बदमाश कोठियों के पास स्थित एक जंगल की ओर भागने लगे। पुलिस ने उनका पीछा किया और इस दौरान बदमाशों ने पुलिस पर फायरिंग शुरू कर दी। जवाबी कार्रवाई में पुलिस ने जंगल में फायरिंग की। इसी दौरान गोली लगने लगने के बाद संग्राम सिंह को पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार कर लिया जबकि उसके अन्य चार- पांच साथी मौके से फरार हो गए। पुलिस फरार बदमाशों की तलाश कर रही है।
