Delhi hindi News: केंद्र सरकार ने उच्चतम न्यायालय को बताया कि उसे दिल्ली में प्रशासनिक सेवाओं पर नियंत्रण करने की जरूरत इसलिए है क्योंकि वह राष्ट्रीय राजधानी और देश का चेहरा है। सॉलिसिटर जनरल तुषार मेहता ने यह भी कहा कि दिल्ली राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र की शासन प्रणाली में विधानसभा और मंत्रिपरिषद होने के बावजूद, आवश्यक रूप से केंद्र सरकार की केंद्रीय भूमिका होनी चाहिए।
मेहता ने कहा कि यह किसी विशेष राजनीतिक दल के बारे में नहीं है। उन्होंने कहा, दिल्ली राष्ट्रीय राजधानी है इसलिए यह आवश्यक है कि लोक सेवकों की नियुक्ति और स्थानांतरण की शक्ति केंद्र के पास हो। दिल्ली देश का चेहरा है। दुनिया भारत को दिल्ली के जरिये देखती है। मेहता ने कहा, “चूंकि यह राष्ट्रीय राजधानी है इसलिए यह आवश्यक है कि केंद्र का इसके प्रशासन पर विशेष अधिकार हो तथा महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दों पर नियंत्रण हो। सरकार ने शीर्ष अदालत को बताया कि दिल्ली में प्रशासनिक सेवाओं पर किसका नियंत्रण होना चाहिए इस मुद्दे की व्यापक व्याख्या के लिए इसे संवैधानिक पीठ को सौंपा जाना चाहिए।
