दिल्ली में होने वाले नगर निगम चुनाव का असर अब साफ दिखने लगा है। एमसीडी चुनाव की तारीखों का ऐलान अभी बाकी है लेकिन उसकी तैयारी में राजनीतिक दलों से लेकर निगम कर्मचारी भी पूरी तरह से जुट गए हैं। दरअसल पूर्वी नगर निगम ने लोगों की समस्याओं को देखते अपना संपत्ति कार्यालय अब शनिवार और रविवार के लिए खोल दिया है। अब यह कार्यालय अब 31 मार्च 2022 तक शनिवार और रविवार भी खुले रहेंगे। यह जानकारी पूर्वी निगम के निगमायुक्त विकास आनंद ने देते हुए बताया कि सम्पत्ति करदाताओं की सुविधा और सम्पत्ति कर समाहरण के तय लक्ष्य को हासिल करने के उद्देश्य के लिए यह निर्णय लिया गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि सम्पत्ति कर कार्यालय सुबह दस बजे से शाम पांच बजे तक खुले रहेंगे। याद रहे कि 31 मार्च सम्पत्ति कर जमा कराने की आखिरी तारीख है।
पूर्वी निगम ने ब्रहमपुरी इलाके में दो सम्पत्तियों को सील किया
पूर्वी दिल्ली नगर निगम ने ब्रहमपुरी इलाके में सम्पत्ति कर जमा ना करने को लेकर दो व्यावसायिक सम्पत्तियों को सोमवार को सील कर दिया। इन सम्पत्ति के मालिकों पर 15 लाख 68 हजार रुपये का सम्पत्ति कर बकाया है। सम्पत्ति कर विभाग की तरफ से सम्पत्तियों के मालिकों को समय पर टैक्स जमा कराने के लिए नोटिस जारी किए गए थे। लेकिन सम्पत्ति मालिकों ने टैक्स जमा नहीं कराया । अधिकारियों का कहना है कि सम्पत्ति कर जमा ना कराने वालों के खिलाफ इन दिनों निगम सख्त कार्रवाई कर रहा है।
