दिल्ली भाजपा के प्रवक्ता प्रवीण शंकर कपूर ने मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल को पत्र लिखा है । जिसमें उन्होंने दिल्ली सरकार के द्वारा फ्लैटेड फैक्ट्री के किराये में 180 से 300 गुणा वृद्धि करने की निंदा करते हुऐ इस वृद्धि को वापस लेने की मांग की है। पत्र मे कहा गया है की 1980 के दशक में प्रदूषण रहित उद्योग को प्रोत्साहन देने के लियें फ्लैटेड फैक्ट्री का प्रपोजल आया एवं लागू हुआ जिसके अंतर्गत फैक्ट्री स्वामी को सालाना रखरखाव शुल्क एवं मासिक किराया देना था। फरवरी 2022 तक यह फैक्ट्री किराया रूपए 30 प्रति वर्ग मीटर था जिसे दिल्ली सरकार ने बिना किसी संवाद के अप्रत्याशित रूप से बढ़ा दिया है।
कपूर ने उदाहरण देकर बताया कि झंडेवालान एवं ओखला की फ्लैटेड फैक्ट्री का प्रति वर्ग मीटर किराया रुपये 30 से बढ़ा कर 500 कर दिया गया और औखला के कियोस्क का रूपए 923 कर दिया गया। इस तरह किराया 180 से 300 गुणा बढ़ा दिया गया। वजीरपुर का किराया रूपए 323 कर दिया गया जो 100 गुणा वृद्धि है। अचानक किराये की 180 से 300 गुणा की यह मार दिल्ली के लगभग 2500 फ्लैटेड फैक्ट्री मालिकों के लिए असहनीय है और इनका काम धंधा चौपट कर देगा। दिल्ली भाजपा प्रवक्ता ने मुख्यमंत्री से मांग की है की इस किराया वृद्धि को अविलंब वापस लेकर उधोग संस्थाओं से बात कर उनको राहत पैकेज दें।
