राजधानी में होली वाले दिन यानी 18 मार्च को डीटीसी और क्लस्टर बस सर्विस दोपहर दो बजे तक बंद रहेंगी। डीटीसी अधिकारियों का कहना है कि रंग वाले दिन सुबह से दोपहर तक सवारियां नहीं मिलती है। अकसर लोग होली खेलने के बाद ही अपने काम पर निकलते हैं या फिर घर से निकलना पसंद करते हैं। इसलिए दोपहर तक संचालन बंद रखा जाएगा। दोपहर दो बजे के बाद करीब 900 बसों को नियमित रूप से संचालन हो सकेगा। अधिक जानकारी के लिए यात्री डीटीसी की हेल्प लाइन सेवा 1800118181 (टोल फ्री नंबर) और 011-41400400 पर कॉल कर सकते हैं।
बाकी बृहस्पतिवार को बसों की सेवा नियमित रूप से संचालित रहेगा। डीटीसी अधिकारियों का कहना है कि होली से पहले बड़ी संख्या में लोग दिल्ली से अपने घरों के लिए लौट रहे हैं। ऐसे में नई दिल्ली, पुरानी दिल्ली, आनंद विहार और हजरत निजामुद्दीन रेलवे स्टेशन की तरफ जाने वाले यात्रियों की संख्या बढ़ गई है। इसी तरह से आनंद विहार, कश्मीरी गेट अंतरराज्यीय बस अड्डा पर भी काफी संख्या में लोग जा रहे हैं। क्योंकि वहां से बस पकड़ कर लोग अपने घरों को लौट रहे हैं। इसलिए इन रूटों पर यात्रियों की संख्या के हिसाब से बस सर्विस मुहैया कराई जा रही है।
