दिल्ली सरकार के अगले सप्ताह करीब 100 इलेक्ट्रिक बस को हरी झंडी दिखाने की उम्मीद है। अधिकारियों ने बताया कि सरकार को 100 से अधिक इलेक्ट्रिक बस मिली हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि इनमें से करीब 100 बस संचालन के लिए पूरी तरह तैयार हैं और शेष को अभी तैयार किया जा रहा है। इस समय इन वाहनों को रखने के लिए दो ई-बस डिपो- मुंडेला कलां और रोहिणी सेक्टर 37 में हैं। मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने दिल्ली परिवहन निगम की पहली इलेक्ट्रिक बस को जनवरी में हरी झंडी दी थी। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा था कि शहर में जल्द ही इस प्रकार की 300 और बस मुहैया कराई जाएंगी।
