दिल्ली पुलिस ने फर्जी दस्तावेजों का इस्तेमाल कर गैंगस्टरों के लिए जाली वीजा और पासपोर्ट बनाने वाले एक गिरोह का भंडाफोड़ करने का दावा किया है। उन्होंने कथित तौर पर सचिन थापन का फर्जी पासपोर्ट बनाने में उनकी मदद की, जो गायक सिद्धू मूसेवाला की हत्या के आरोपी लॉरेंस बिश्नोई के भतीजे हैं। गिरोह के पांच सदस्यों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है और उनकी पहचान राहुल सरकार, नवनीत प्रजापति, अरिजीत कुमार, सोमनाथ प्रजापति और एक महिला के रूप में हुई है।
दक्षिण जिले की पुलिस उपायुक्त बनिता मैरी जैकर ने कहा कि वे कानून के शिकंजे से गैंगस्टरों को भागने में मदद करते थे। लॉरेंस बिश्नोई गैंग के साथ सांठगांठ करने वाले एक गिरोह का पुलिस ने भंडाफोड़ किया है। उन्होंने फर्जी आईडी का इस्तेमाल कर फर्जी नाम से पासपोर्ट बनवाने में सचिन थापन और अन्य गैंगस्टरों की मदद की। पुलिस ने कहा कि थापन कथित तौर पर पंजाब में सिद्धू मूसेवाला की हत्या की साजिश में शामिल था।
