नई दिल्ली। दिल्ली पुलिस ने यहां जहांगीरपुरी में हुई हिंसा के सिलसिले में गिरफ्तार किए गए पांच आरोपियों पर सख्त राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा कानून (एनएसए) लगाया है। साथ ही पुलिस ने दो और लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है, जिनमें से एक व्यक्ति पर मामले में आरोपी को पिस्तौल उपलब्ध कराने का आरोप है। जहांगीरपुरी में शनिवार को शोभायात्रा के दौरान दो समुदायों के बीच झड़प हुई थी जिसमें आठ पुलिस कर्मी और एक स्थानीय निवासी घायल हो गए। पुलिस के अनुसार, झड़पों के दौरान पथराव और आगजनी हुई और कुछ वाहनों को भी आग के हवाले कर दिया गया।

उन्होंने बताया कि गुल्ली के अलावा दिलशाद को भी गिरफ्तार किया गया और ये दोनों जहांगीरपुरी के निवासी हैं। पुलिस के मुताबिक, हनुमान जयंती के मौके पर निकाली गई शोभायात्रा के दौरान हुई झड़पों के सिलसिले में अब तक 25 लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया जबकि दो नाबालिगों को पकड़ा गया है। यह पूछे जाने पर कि क्या किसी आरोपी के पॉपुलर फ्रंट ऑफ इंडिया से संबंध है, पुलिस के एक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी ने कहा कि जांच अभी शुरुआती चरण में है और सभी कोण से जांच जारी है।
