दिल्ली में छह महीने में बढ़े अपराध, जुलाई तक 3,140 मामले दर्ज

राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में 2022 के शुरुआती छह महीनों में पिछले साल की इसी अवधि की तुलना में जघन्य अपराध के मामलों में करीब 13 प्रतिशत की बढ़ोतरी हुई है। दिल्ली पुलिस के आंकड़ों में यह जानकारी दी गई। आंकड़ों के अनुसार, इसी अवधि में गैर जघन्य श्रेणी के अपराधों में आठ प्रतिशत की वृद्धि हुई है। गैर जघन्य अपराध की श्रेणी वाले घर में चोरी के मामलों में 553 प्रतिशत की बढ़ोतरी हुई है। पिछले साल इन मामलों की संख्या 1,158 थी, जो 2022 में 7,561 हो गई है।

दिल्ली में 15 जुलाई तक जघन्य अपराध के 3,140 मामले दर्ज किए गए, जिनकी संख्या 15 जुलाई, 2021 तक 2,790 थी। दिल्ली पुलिस के बुधवार को साझा किए गए आंकड़ों के अनुसार, 2022 और 2021 में गैर-जघन्य अपराधों के तहत दर्ज मामलों की संख्या क्रमशः 1,55,980 और 1,44,332 रही। आंकड़ों के अनुसार, शहर में हत्या के 277 मामले सामने आए, जो 2021 में दर्ज 235 मामलों से लगभग 18 प्रतिशत अधिक हैं। इसी तरह, हत्या के प्रयास और लूटपाट के मामलों में क्रमशः लगभग 32 और 10 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि हुई है। इसमें बताया गया है कि 2022 में हत्या के प्रयास के कुल 473 मामले दर्ज किए गए, जबकि 2021 में ऐसे 360 मामले दर्ज किए गए थे। लूटपाट के मामले 2021 के 1,110 मामलों से बढ़कर 2022 में 1,221 हो गए।

इसमें कहा गया है कि चोरी की 2021 में 1,362 घटनाएं दर्ज की गई थीं, जबकि 2022 में ये 112 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि के साथ 2,893 रहीं। सामान छीनने के मामलों में 12 प्रतिशत और घातक दुर्घटनाओं में 18 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि हुई। आंकड़ों में बताया गया है कि दिल्ली में इस साल सामान छीने जाने के 5,024 और घातक दुर्घटनाओं के 690 मामले दर्ज किए गए, जबकि पिछले साल इनकी संख्या क्रमश: 4,468 और 583 थी। राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में 2022 में मोटर वाहन चोरी के 19,548 मामले दर्ज किए गए, जबकि 2021 में यह संख्या 18,814 थी। इस वर्ष डकैती के नौ मामले सामने गए, जबकि 2021 में इनकी संख्या आठ थी।
