दिल्ली की एक अदालत ने जहांगीरपुरी हिंसा के दौरान इस्तेमाल की गई पिस्तौल की आपूर्ति करने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार एक व्यक्ति की जमानत याचिका शनिवार को खारिज कर दी। गौरतलब है कि राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में जहांगीरपुरी में 16 अप्रैल को हनुमान जयंती के जुलूस के दौरान दो समूहों के बीच हिंसक झड़पें हुईं, जिसमें एक नागरिक और आठ पुलिस कर्मियों सहित नौ लोग घायल हुए थे। पुलिस ने जांच के दौरान 19 अप्रैल को गुलफाम रसूल उर्फ ​​गुल्ली को गिरफ्तार किया था और उसके पास से एक देशी पस्टिल भी बरामद की थी। अतिरक्ति सत्र न्यायाधीश गगनदीप सिंह ने अभियोजन पक्ष और बचाव पक्ष के वकील की दलीलें सुनने के बाद आरोपी की जमानत अर्जी खारिज करते हुए कहा कि आवेदक के खिलाफ आरोप गंभीर हैं।
